The OMB declined the developers application to construct 60 condominiums in the Fraser wetlands. For more information on this issue please refer to the Friends of the Fraser website.

Cell Towers

The BPOA was contacted by a number of our members wanting the BPOA to take a position on a Roger's communication tower to be erected on Campline Road adjacent to Camp Kawartha. The executive of the BPOA wrote a letter in opposition to this tower. Since our and other objections have been raised, Camp Kawartha has heard nothing more about this cell tower. Douro has been developing a policy for future cell towers.

BPOA Member Survey
